Quilt Studies is a series of paintings responding to a quilt gifted to the artist by her late aunt, Goldia Dixon. The work traces how images shift as they move across materials and processes. Beginning with a single source, the imagery is translated through collage, painting, and digital manipulation. The process balances intuition with structure, reflecting on care and time. The paintings invite viewers to consider how meaning is formed through attention and repetition.
